Dr. Berthold Barodte, Senior Vice President, Mastercard Berthold serves as the Senior Vice President of Mastercard's Security Solutions business in Europe, bringing over a decade of experience in the payments industry. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles within Mastercard’s services business. Before joining Mastercard, Berthold worked at Roland Berger, focusing on their Financial Services practice, and also founded a consulting firm specializing in risk management. He holds both a PhD and a Master of Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
