Rob joined Balderton Capital in 2009 and was promoted to partner in 2015. Rob’s focus sectors are fintech, mobile consumer and vertical AI. Rob works closely with companies including Cleo, Stream, Primer, Zego, Premialab, PlayPlay, Agave, Lassie, Qargo, Lawhive, Light, Taktile and Carwow. Prior investments include Dream Games (acquired by CVC), Wooga (acquired by Playtika) and Numeral (acquired by Mambu). Rob previously worked for Google as a Manager in the EMEA Strategy & Ops team, and as a senior consultant at Bain. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MMath from Cambridge.
