Estonia has become a global reference point for what “digital by default” truly means. In this environment, digital services are not layered on top of institutions – they are the institutions. Indrek Reimand has spent most of his career inside this system, first helping build Estonia’s public-sector digital ecosystem and later bringing those principles into private banking as Head of 

Digital Channels and Design at Coop Pank. Now I lead digital channels and design at Coop Pank, one of Estonia's fastest-growing banks. My team owns mobile banking, internet banking, public web, and digital onboarding, and we're focused on turning those touchpoints into something customers actually want to use. 

 

My ambition is straightforward and radical at the same time: to build the world’s best local bank. In a country of just over a million people, that statement only makes sense when “local” is understood not as small or limited, but as deeply human, highly responsive, and structurally advanced.
