Kayode Odeleye

Kayode is Managing Partner of 23mile Capital, a London-based venture special situations fund. 23mile acquires revenue generating software companies that have fallen off the hypergrowth path.
He hosts the 23mile podcast, a show focused on scaling, exits, and the highs and lows of building successful startups. Kayode also founded Caena, a financial literacy and fundraising automation platform for startups and investors.
Kayode previously spent 13 years at Standard Chartered Bank, where he was a Director in Leveraged Finance. In this role, he executed over $5 billion in complex transactions spanning mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing, and major capital projects.
He holds an MSc International Management from the University of Liverpool, an Advanced Executive Certificate from MIT Sloan, and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.
Outside work, Kayode enjoys endurance sports and has raced up to marathon distance.
